It is an honor to care for our patients. Please take a few moments to learn about the services offered as well as other important information about the practice.

New Patient Evaluation:

The purpose of an new patient evaluation is to get to know the patient and the potential allergy issue(s) affecting that patient's life.
All evaluations include a thorough history and physical exam.
Allergy testing is often very helpful, but is not for everyone. Based on the individual situation, testing may be recommended. Please see the column to the right for examples of testing offered.
There are effective strategies available for managing many allergic conditions and asthma. Examples of such strategies which may be developed for an individual patient can also be found in the column to the right.
Dr. Piltch reviews the options for diagnostic testing and treatment with the patient based upon how likely the options are to be helpful, not how much they cost. Dr. Piltch is committed to do everything she can to help all her patients understand what those options mean for their lives. Finally Dr. Piltch works with the patient to develop a plan of what to do next. This plan may include treatments, further testing, resources, what to look out for and when to seek medical advice.

Return patient evaluations:

These visits are a time to evaluate how well the plan worked and to make any needed adjustments. The history is updated and a thorough physical exam is performed. If new allergy symptoms or issues have developed, these are addressed.

Our patients' care and well-being are why we exist.
